A: From template to install, the entire process takes 1-3 weeks depending on the type of material you choose.

Q: What is the difference between Natural Stone and Engineered Quartz?

​

A: Natural stone counter tops can be granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, limestone and travertine. Natural means it has been directly pulled from the earth and will display distinct markings such as veins, mineral colour, crystals and speckle. Every stone is different and should be considered a work of art.  Natural stone is unaffected by heat but is more prone to chipping and cracking and requires maintenance such as sealant. Many natural stones are also easily stained and are affected by acids from citrus fruits, harsh chemicals and even wine.

Engineered Quartz is a newer technology and is becoming very popular amongst designers and home builders alike. Theses surfaces are created using malleable resins, special glues, ground up quartz and other materials to create almost exact replicas of natural stone. Engineered quartz is nonporous and very hard to stain. It is less likely to chip or crack and does not require sealers.

A: We work directly with suppliers from across Canada to provide our customers with the very best in counter top surfaces. Many natural stones have different origins ranging from Brazil to Italy, while our engineered materials are from the United States, Spain, Israel and Canada.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your new counter tops, and part of that process is knowing the right match for your lifestyle. The more you learn before buying, the better. Please take a moment to browse our website and then contact us with any questions.

STEP 2 - Sketch It

Contact us and we can provide you with a quote worksheet that will help to eliminate the ‘hidden extras’ by guiding you through all the options. This will help you to receive the most accurate quote.

STEP 3 - Color Shop

Book an appointment to come and do a colour selection with us or take a look under our Inventory and choose the style that fits you best.

​

STEP 4 - Scheduling

After you have approved our initial quote, and selected the color of your choice we will schedule a template date that works well with your schedule. Then your countertops will be fabricated and installed within the industry’s shortest lead time of 1-3 weeks.
